Here at FirstEnergy, the more than 11 million people who live and work in the communities we serve and in those with our facilities, are more than just customers. They're our neighbors and friends. That's why employees at our electric utility operating companies and electric generating plants strongly believe in working with these communities through establishing invaluable partnerships and community service initiatives.

Our obligation to public service goes far beyond providing energy service to our neighbors. In partnership with other businesses, government and the nonprofit sector, we've pledged our resources and the FirstEnergy Foundation to help make our neighborhoods and communities attractive places to live, work and do business.

On every employee level, FirstEnergy representatives willingly work with community leaders to cultivate and execute initiatives for civic, economic and social well-being. Our employees live and work in our communities, and they graciously volunteer their time and contribute financial support to a variety of community efforts.
