Our internship program is designed to cultivate your professional skills and provide meaningful insight into the rewards of pursuing full-time, professional-level work. At FirstEnergy, this means that you'll get a personalized development plan, on-the-job training, and challenging assignments that will refine your skills and round out your competencies.

FirstEnergy offers a variety of co-op internship opportunities in the fall, winter/spring, and summer sessions for undergraduate students. We have opportunities for students majoring in:

Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Nuclear)
Business (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain)
Mathematics
Statistics
Logistics
Computer Science/Information Technology

We offer part-time (for certain majors) and full-time opportunities, as well as flexible start and end dates. We are looking for college students who are interested in making the most of this experience, which could turn into a full-time position upon graduation. Relocation and Housing
FirstEnergy offers relocation assistance for eligible engineering majors who are selected for an engineering position. For students that live more than 50 miles from their FirstEnergy reporting location, we offer a stipend to use for housing that candidates find on their own.

Plus, we offer relocation assistance to those accepting a full-time position with FirstEnergy upon graduation and who meet the distance requirements.
